High School Soccer League

Winter Season 1, 2025: October 24th - December 20th

41st Mockingbird Annual - Jan 2-4, 2026 - Boys High School Premier Tournament

Winter Season 2, 2026: January 9th - March 7th, 2026*

WAITLIST for winter 2 season registration opens: Monday, december 1st at 12pm

Winter 2, 2026 LEAGUE INFO:

• The season lasts 8-9 weeks depending on which division your team is placed in.

• Each team plays 6 full games, plus each team has one week off (BYE week) at some point in the season. We do not provide practice time for teams.

• Final week(s) of the season is a mini-tournament for all teams.

• League fee is $875/team.

• To register, you must join the Waitlist that opens on December 1st.

Tournament Schedule:

• Teams that are in these divisions will have their tournament on February 27th/28th weekend:

  • Girls Gold 1, Girls Premier, Boys White 1, Boys Gold 1, Boys Premier

• Teams that are in these divisions will have their tournament on March 6th/7th weekend:

  • Girls White 2, Girls White 1. Boys White 3, Boys White 2, Boys Gold 2

Game Schedule:

• Games are on Friday nights (6pm-10:10pm kickoffs) and Saturday late afternoons and nights (3:20pm-10pm kickoffs).

• Most girls' teams play on Fridays.***

• Most boys' teams play on Saturdays.***

• ***A few games might be scheduled on opposite nights depending on field availability and scheduling requests, etc.

• Schedule/BYE week requests: make all requests during registration or via email by January 5th. We will take all requests into consideration, however they are not guaranteed.

Division INFORMATION:

• There are typically 2-4 girls' divisions and 3-6 boys' divisions.

• Divisions are based on age, size, and skill level - not strictly JV or Varsity.

• We reserve the right to move teams to different divisions after the first game to ensure balanced competition, safety, etc.

Division STRUCTURE:

GIRLS

• Premier: For teams consisting primarily club soccer players of Juniors and Seniors

• Gold: For teams consisting primarily of club soccer players of Freshman and Sophomores

• White 1: For teams consisting primarily of recreational players of Juniors and Seniors

• White 2: For teams consisting primarily of recreational players of Freshman and Sophomores

BOYS

• Premier/Gold 1: For teams consisting primarily club soccer players of Juniors and Seniors

• Gold 2: For teams consisting primarily of recreational soccer players of Juniors and Seniors

• White 1: For teams consisting primarily club soccer players of Freshman and Sophomores

• White 2/White 3: For teams consisting primarily of club soccer players of Freshman and Sophomores

REGISTRATION

1. Team Registration: Your coach or team parent needs to register the team to our Waitlist online. During registration we'll need your team name, jersey/shirt color you’re planning to wear, a few questions about your initial roster, and the a $10 deposit made. If accepted in, your team will need to make the first payment of $265 on December 22nd to be added.

2. Waivers & Roster: After acceptance into the league, print the Waiver and Roster form. Each player's parent/guardian must sign a waiver. You can submit them individually or as a team. Rosters and waivers are due at the first game.

PAYMENTS

• All payments are made online by the coach/team manager.

• You can pay in full or choose an installment plan during registration.

• Installment plans automatically split the fee into weekly payments.

• Players will pay their portion to the coach/team manager, not directly to Mockingbird.

LEAGUE RULES

• Team Size: The minimum number of players required on your roster is 8 players. In general, there is no maximum, but consider registering two teams if you have more than 16 to ensure playing time for all players.

• Age: Players must be 13-18 years old. Only players currently enrolled in middle and high school are allowed to participate. Absolutely no players who have already graduated high school. We may ask for school ID. Players of middle school age are allowed to play but only after MVSC approval. Player safety is of great importance.

• Adult Supervision: A coach or team parent must be available to be present on the sidelines for every game if deemed necessary by MVSC staff. Sportsmanship is also of great importance.

• Team Gear: All players must wear matching color shirts/jerseys. Bring an alternate color in case of a color clash. The second team on the schedule must change if colors match. Wearing shin guards is highly recommended. Flat-soled soccer or tennis shoes only (no cleats).
